Qualifications: Must be able to operate two-way radios, chemical sprays, baton, flashlight, handcuffs, Glock Model 17. Valid Colorado drivers license and District policy acceptable driving record. Must be able to qualify with duty weapon meeting P.O.S.T standards.
The position? With district public schools. Armed security officer.

Ha! Ha! My BIL used to do this very thing for a living. He didn’t carry a gun, but then he was security for elementary school, so we can ohly HOPE he’d never have needed it. He is 6’4″ 195 lb retired Navy. You can guess why he was hired.
