one day. one day of happiness, fleeting.

One day a week I’m in and of myself.

One day a week I’m rested in body and clear and bright of mind and thought.

One day a week the life force surges through my cells, hungry for strength and vitality.

One day a week I get to play. Rinsed of fatigue and job demands, one day a week, life’s about that which I love and that which needs to be done and accomplished.

In roughly 24 hours of free time, minus sleep.

Were that every day so enriching and pleasurable and satisfying in my life alone. Imagine the joy, comforts and bountiful acts of kindness and compassion extended to others.

More than one day a week.
