Never a dull moment in Denver!
That includes the weather.
A mere four hours ago the streets were normal.
We all knew a winter storm’s a-movin’ in, with a foot or so accumulation after all is said and snowed. Not a little chilly on the morrow with a high of 25, low of 3 F. (3.8 and 16 C.)
Presently it’s fallin’ in juicy fat flakes. When I opened the door to take a pic, the blast of brrrrrrr forced a change of heart. I settled for a lesser-quality pic from behind a window in a toasty house!
That object seen through the bush is my car, its windows and white body still visible but not for very much longer … or tomorrow when I leave for work.
At 6.25 a.m. For a double-time drive across snowy icy roads. Before dawn. With idiotic irresponsible drivers everywhere; it’s not me I worry about but them.
It’ll be too dark to take a photo then so you’ll have to take my word for it: buried beneath white snow, a white car becomes this sleight of hand orchestrated by Mother Nature, a disappearing act that’s kinda surreal, kinda spooky …

I like snow – as long as I don’t have to clear it from my sidewalk, hehe…
Last year we had an awful lot of it (almost abnormal to be honest).
This year it’s all rain and fog though and some flakes from time to time.
Anyway, we just have to accept the weather as it comes (no way to change it). 😉

@fotograf– but shoveling’s excellent exercise! 🙂 don’t misunderstand, snowy chilly DRY sunny climates totally suit me! Cold damp gray – no no and no (witness a long-distance move to escape it!). My constitution totally digs current new environs. Will never return to the likes of prior Gray Land .

And the internet snowflakes simply add another dimension to your poor car’s seasonal burial.

@aubrey– indeed! Subarus are built for snow so she don’t mind. 🙂
