blogcap before beddy-bye

Early to bed early to rise … sucks.

For this night owl anyhow.

It’s the consequence of my job, where twice a week my shift starts at 7 a.m. (aaaaaack!!) … and why at this early hour of 9:15 p.m. I’m fading fast.

I’ve no excuse save that I was awake at 5:15 in … {gasp} … the … {gag} morning.

However, I wanted to dash off a blogcap — a nightcap at the blog — before going beddy-bye.

Hard to believe (for those unfamiliar with Colorado’s highly-changeable weather) that today’s temp was a dry warm sunny bright 61 F (16 C).

And tomorrow I’ll awaken about daybreak to some 3 inches (7.6 cm) of snow, with another 3 or so inches predicted through the day, and a high of a brrrrr-ish 27 F. (2.7 C)!

That’s how it goes in Colorado, where it’s said: “If you don’t like the weather, stick around 10 minutes.”

Some locations make that claim, undeservedly. Colorado, however, has every right to do so. It can be warm and gorgeous one day, then the next day — or next hour — a heavy snowfall arrives, or thunderous summer shower or blustery winds or tornadoes.

Never a dull WX moment in Denver!

And to think I wasted five years of my life beneath same same same gray gray gray cold cold cold sunless sunless sunless skies!

Never again!

{cause I love it here!}

‘night now …

    Oh, how I feel with you – I am a night owl myself and have to get up at 6 am. Not as early as you, but still – it just sucks… 😉
