Dougie goes psycho

In a good sorta way.

Psycho as in psychological.

Thing 32. Make something ephemeral. …create something using a material that will dissipate quickly, like soap bubbles, smoke …

He saw fire and he saw rain, James Taylor did, and in a similar vein I incorporated fire and water.

I began with the ashes of a charcoal tablet (the sort used for burning frankincense, not meats on grills).

To it I added coffee (water passed through grounds).

Then separately on the paper the grounds for texture.

I finished it with more fire from a lighter.

Fire and water combined for an offbeat Rorschach inkblot test.

So whaddya see? It can be viewed this way:

or that:

After my disasterous attempt to analyse your dreams, I refuse to comment. 😉

@Klopp – Well, that’s just silly! There’s no right or wrong in an inkblot interpretation! So let your imagination run free!

OK then…it’s raindrops slipping down my window…after 10 days of no sunlight that’s all my brain can manage. I know 10 days…no stamina…the sun is due out on Weds; I can’t wait.

Is it just me or looking at the bottom of second picture, I see from left to right: a giant skeleton shaking hands with someone and Ronald McDonald.
