Dougie toasts mother Russia

When I think potatoes, I think Russia.

And today’s Dougie is 16 — shet’nadtsat’ in Russian. Pronounced: shyehs-nahd-tsah-t, with a soft “t.” If you think that’s difficult, try reading it: шестнадцать.

Back to the day’s prompt.

Thing 16: “Make a unique print by cutting up a potato or sponge and use it to stamp on a material of your choice.”

This one has a funny story. While carving, I forgot that images will appear reversed when stamped. So huh?

I laughed, resliced and began anew …

Nice tater! How did you add the image in the side bar? I wanted to include it but couldn’t figure out how. (Cool we got noticed, huh?)
