Doin’ El 10 today.
Few photographs speak to me of Tacoma like this one.
It’s a scene that’ll stay with me like no other for its sheer repetition, the first and frequent sight as I hoof ’round the corner and descend the slope toward historic downtown.
Thing 10: Use water as your medium/inspiration today.
A common cold drizzly afternoon that wearies tired aged buildings … steam ascending from the papermill whose distinctive sulphuric odor is affectionately or derisively called the Tacoma Aroma … port waters revealed only by punctuating lights peering through an oppressing insufferable wet gray.
