There’s a Moose at my window

He’s baaaaaaaaaack.

No, not him:

Him:

After a hair over a week of Moose’s confinement to his (neighboring) home for health matters and restoring of the relationship between him and P., which had fallen into disrepair and neglect, the kitty window was reopened and Moose the Zen samurai released to adventure freely, as he is wont to do.

He’s sporting a sparkly new ID tag too, after his previous one with collar got lost (and my gentle reminders to procure one).

In the moment Moose resurfaced at my window sill, all was right with the world. As a special treat, I gave him loose catnip

He goes amorously nuts for the stuff, licking it up …

and inhaling it …

rolling in it this way …

and that …

until he’s drunk …

and blissful …

Thank you, Erin. It takes on special meaning because Moose is averse to being photographed; he’ll often look the other way when a lens is pointed on him so this was a rare moment when his guard was dropped — obviously the effect of catnip intoxication.

I’m glad you can talk about catnip with your Moose, don’t you wish everybody could?
