One man’s Bellissima is another man’s bankruptcy

Take a close look at this excerpt from a pizza menu:

D’Lorenzo Mozzarella, Cherry Tomatoes, Arugula, Parmegiano, Olive Oil … 16.00
Caprino Mozzarella, Roasted Peppers, Eggplant, Goat Chese, Arugula, Olive Oil … 17.00
Vongole Mozzarella, Broccoli Rabe, White Clam Sauce, Garlic, Pepperoncino … 16.00
Puttanesca Red Peppers, Sundried Tomatoes, Olives, Capers, Goat Cheese, Garlic … 17.00
Mama Mia (12”) thin crust topped with caviar, lobster, creme fraiche and chives … 1,000.000

Anything catch your attention?

Righto. Yet that’s no Mama Mia misprint. At 1,000 smackeroos (AU 1,271), it's the world’s most expensive pie, made by Nino’s Bellissima Pizza in New York City.

Along with the ingredients listed, it’s topped with four kinds of Petrossian caviar, four ounces of thinly sliced Maine lobster tail, salmon roe and dab of wasabi. The pizza remains uncooked so's not to spoil the fish.

At four slices per pie, that’s $250 (AU 158) a serving. Talk about putting money where the mouth is.

You're outta luck, folks, found no indication they do home delivery.
