lad gives big man the bird

A turkey tickler …

A game warden is driving down the road and comes upon a young boy carrying a wild turkey under his arm.

He stops and asks the boy, “Where did you get that turkey?”

The boy replies, “What turkey?”

The game warden says, “That turkey you're carrying under your arm.”

The boy looks down and says, “Well, lookee here, a turkey done roosted

under my arm!”

The game warden says: “Now look, you know turkey season is closed, so whatever you do to that turkey, I'm gonna do to you.

“If you break his leg, I'm gonna break your leg. If you break his wing, I'll break your arm. Whatever you do to him, I'll do to you. So, what are you gonna do with him?”

The little boy says, “I guess I'll just kiss his ass and let him go!”

Keepin’ on with the Positivities …

1. Hot coffee each morning. No day feels right without it.

2. The Internet because it affords research in general and specifically on dental issues. I need the information.

3. My peeps giving their input (tips, suggestions, personal experiences). I love the dialogue — even if it’s on grim dental disease.

4. The frequent friendly nods and hellos from strangers on the streets. Dunno why Tacomans see me while I was invisible in all (post-Japan) towns prior but I like it. Definitely feel received here.

5. Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. May not be the sole solution to what ails but is helping to cleanse and heal and move the periodontal condition in a better direction.

6. A friend treating me to a movie and cup of coffee. Kindness (even the smallest acts)  are meaningful and touching when downtrodden.  I am mindful of each and to paying it forward in gratitude.
