peachy keen, I’m in the pink!

I like my drink. Until it's froufrou or sweet, then I lose interest.

So it was with some surprise last night when I found this passing my lips:



Though it wasn't served in this glass, it was this color.

Though it wasn't officially a peach mimosa — that would be champagne, peach schnapps and orange juice — for 2 bucks as a Sunday special at my No. 1 divey hangout, I couldn't object.

My heart still belongs to microbrews, red wine, gin and rye whiskey. Nonetheless, once a year it's peachy to put aside the blue collars and the swank and oooohhh and aaaah over the sweet and the pretty in pink.
